Newest Addition to Sweet Shop Natalie - Edible Images!!!

So excited to announce the latest addition to Sweet Shop Natalie! Another way to make any occasion you have special and custom.

Edible Images are now available!

The possibilities are endless and will make your event even more memorable by adding edible image cookies.

Here are just a few ideas to get the ball rolling.....

Business logo... want to promote your company in a "sweet" way? Your logo can be printed and put on any size cookie you want to hand out to customers at your event, business luncheon, or employee.

I even did my own logo and I love it! Maybe I will start using them as a business cards for special events.

How about a baby shower or 1st birthday, or any age.....

Customize your parents anniversary party by putting your sweet parents on a cookie....

Here is an example of a cookie you could do for Father's Day or a milestone birthday.... (this is my Dad, you got to love the lamb chops he had)....

Wedding or bridal parties: Take your event to the next level by having the lucky couple's picture on the cookie, you could put them on the dessert table, have it as a wedding favor, or even a thank you gift to your wedding party/guests....

Graduation time: Personalize your son or daughter's graduation party with their picture on a cookie mixed in with a themed cookie platter...

Christening/baptism.. Here are some cookies I did last month for a baby baptism, they were cookie favors for the dinner celebration party guests....

Another shot of logo cookies on a platter...

The cookies below are heat sealed in a cellophane bag that would be perfect for party favors!

So my son went in for his last Orthodontic appointment in November and  we visited our Dentist back in October. I wanted to bring some cookies to everyone in the offices to say thanks! So of course Sugarbelles silly braces cookies had to be done!

Just teeth and brushes for the dentist office

But braces for the Orthodontist

And since it was Movember when I took these in what was more fitting than a mustached brace face!! :)

Business License Draper City

After the long 10 months of waiting to be approved for my home cottage licensing through the state the next step was to get my city business license.

I had done it before with the Skin Care business 3 years ago. I was not looking forward to it since I already knew the process had quite a few steps to go through. The last one was that I would have to attend the city planning council public hearing to see if any of my neighbors would object to my little home business.

No one objected to my skin care business three years ago and I expected just the same for the my cookie adventure. I thought since the business was making cookies that I would need to make cookies to bring to the hearing. So when it was my turn the head member jokingly said "so did you bring cookies since this is a cookie business?"...."Why yes I did"!!

No objections were made and I now have my city business license.

I used the city's logo and tag lines to put on the cookies.

I happen to know one of the council members. A day or so later she said that all the council members were quite impressed and passed my info onto the PR rep for the city for future events!!

Chiropractor Cookies

I go to see my chiropractor on a monthly basis and so I thought that I would bring him cookies on my last visit!

I know I spelled Egbert wrong but when I checked online to make sure it was spelled right I only found one post that listed his name and they spelled it with two g's. :) My husband told me I spelled it wrong if only I would have asked him before I put it on the cookie!!

Mr. Tall Tale = Robert

A week ago was my older brothers birthday. Robert is fourth child to my parents and not even sure how much older he is than me maybe 12 years? He and his lovely wife have 7 children of their own, that is right 7 children... Terence, Rhen, Acacia, Dallin, Angela, Joe & Noelle.

My brother has a couple of jobs to keep him busy. He has a full time job and then he also drives bus for the local transportation company here in Salt Lake City. It's a good gig I think, he drives the bus that takes him two and from his full time job, so he gets paid to make his commute! Smart!

I put in a couple of sports cookies in his box. The football one to represent his many years of supporting his two oldest boys quest in sports which started when they were in middle school and went through their college years!  I put in a baseball as well because I think that is the sport that he likes more. Maybe I am wrong but I think he enjoyed playing baseball when he was younger.

His wife says he likes to do recreational activities but his favorite is fishing so some fishing cookies were in order.

These next cookies I was not sure how I could cookify them. Robert is a big story teller. Our family loves to hear stories of the older kids and their shenanigans! You can get the stories from my other two oldest brothers but if you want to hear an embellished one then you need to have Robert tell it!  So when I asked Nina, Robert's wife, to share some of his hobbies and interests she mentioned that his children always thought he was in the Navy! He wasn't in the Navy but he use to always tell them stories and he would start with "When I was in the Navy...."
That totally cracked me up and I thought it was perfect way to show in a cookie that he is a great story teller!

Now these cookies I am not even sure if he knows what these next cookies represent. These represent my fondest childhood memory of my brother Robert. These cookies are titled "Little People".

When we were younger two of my siblings and I, (McKay & Kristine) would bug Robert to play games with us. The one we loved was a game of not getting caught. Robert must have been a good sport and amused his much younger siblings. He would be the "Giant" and we were the "little people" my memory is a little foggy as to how it exactly worked. I think there were a couple of versions. One is that he would be on the couch and we would run around by him trying to not get caught. Pretty sure if we got caught then tickling was then endured. :)

I now sort of play a version of this with my own children but we call it Tickle Monster. It is a happy childhood memory I have of Robert and I hope that my children will have happy memories of my version as well. :)

Happy Birthday Robert, I hope you had a great day!!

3 days = 200 cookies

Thanks to another fellow cookier that found me through the CookieCon Facebook page. I got a to fulfill a 200 Logo cookie order. It took me 3 days to do it and I was happy when it was all done. :)

The company was having a corporate event and wanted there Logo on 200 cookies. With this Logo the only way to go was to make edible images. It was quite the task to get the right color of orange it needed to be.

This is what 200 cookies look like all bagged, tied and boxed up.
